So, to get some familiarity, I recommend using a program like VirtualBox to conduct the necessary experiments, and then, after the experience has reached a sufficient level, move on to the actual installation on disk.
If you cannot create a virtual machine from scratch, then you can follow the instructions in my tutorial on virtualizing Ubuntu: in the only case, you need to replace the Ubuntu ISO image with a Kali Linux image, which you can download as follows. instructions above.
After creating this necessary room, it’s time to act: first, a bootable usb stick with Kali Linux Etbootin, as I explained before.
After completing this step, create two partitions on your computer’s hard drive containing Kali Linux. The first must be at least 20 GB, and the operating system is installed, and the second is called Intercambio, which must be equal to doubling the RAM available on the computer.
After the disk installation procedure is completed, reconnect it by booting USB from the computer (as I said in the previous section) and after entering the Kali Linux selection menu, select it Keyboard using the arrows directed by the graphics unit, then press the button Introduction.
At this time, follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation – select the item español, click the button to set the language, continue, select the article España, click next, select the keyboard español from the list, click the button again next and wait for the system to download the necessary components for installation.
Then write the name of the PC in the text window Hostname (for example, Kali) Click the next button and repeat the action for the name domain: if you do not have special needs, but if you need to share files, I advise you to type the domain with other Windows PCs on the network WORKGROUP compatibility problem for.
The next step is to add a password that will be used to access the account. if you need root: enter it in the two suggested boxes, remember it (root password may not be possible to recover), and click Next.
